The past week has been an exciting time for my family and we have been walking on cloud 9 this week.

Last Sunday afternoon, my daughter became engaged to her partner.  If that wasn’t exciting enough, what made me emotional was the thoughtfulness of my daughter’s partner in deciding where to make the proposal.

First the partner agreed to propose using the ring that was passed down from my mother.  Given this, he decided to acknowledge the Redman family connection to Coonawarra, by proposing on the Coonawarra train station.

Since Sunday, I reflected on how much energy this experience brought not only to my daughter but to family & friends.  It was a real “Wow” moment!
